I think we all probably have our own ways of navigating through the forum here and in the gallery. Our ways may work great for us, but have you ever wondered if there might be a better way. Let's use this thread to tell others what we do. It may give us all some "Ah-ha Moments" and make things easier for us too!

When I come to the index page for the forum, I always use the VIEW NEW POSTS link at the top right corner under the date. It shows me what new has been posted (both new topics and new replies to older topics) since the last time I was logged in. In fact, I have that page bookmarked so that when I hit MS, it automatically goes to that page for me.

In the gallery, I use the calendar on the left side bar to view layouts. I click on the date I want, and then go through each layout, ALWAYS using the Back Button on my browser after each comment I leave. It gets me back to the page I started at so that I know I've not missed anything. I've gotten quicker, because I hit the Back button as soon as it says that my comment was saved.

I also use the view new posts button each time I log in. I've always struggled with going through the gallery in an organized manner and not missing things. I will try your method.

I also use the view new post for the board. I've never had a method for the gallery. I tend to just start with the first new and go back until I run out of time.

Great minds think alike... I do the same things as Telah..except I don't use the Back Button, I just keep going forward til I see a layout I already saw, then I just pick the next date from the calendar!
Same difference?...lol!!

Thanks for the tip about the gallery - the calender will be a real plus! I was always afraid that if I hit the back button my comment would disappear also.

It appears as if it disappears, but it does not. I was afraid of this too! But I tested it and it works.
