Who doesn't love having a collection of markers? They're small, they come in yummy colors, and they bring us back to our childhood when coloring was a favorite activity. There are hundreds of ways to store and organize your markers and I'm here to present some of the ways that I really like. It is best to store your markers horizontally so I am only showing that type of storage.

I store my own markers in two ways. These super-cheap white baskets from WalMart are the perfect size for markers and they fit perfectly into my Jet Max cubes. As you can see, I have them labeled according to type.

My precious Spectrum Noir makers are stored in the racks that are made for them. I love these racks, but they are a bit pricey so I have to buy them gradually. They are available here http://www.crafterscompanion.com/Marker ... c_185.html.

The Copic company also sells lots of their own storage systems.
Here are some listed on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywor ... vrg1s57u_e

There are dozens of plastic containers like this one by Snapware that would be a great storage container for pens. You can shop for them at the Container Store, WalMart, Target, Amazon, JoAnn's, Michaels, or even the dollar stores.

For a more do-it-yourself storage system, I love this one using Crystal Lite containers and a magnet board.

You can customize them with your favorite scrapbook papers.

How about this modern-looking system made from PVC pipe? You could put them in a bin or cubby as pictured here, or glue the pipes together so that they are free standing. Isn't this awesome!

And, finally, for that very favorite marker that you reach for again and again...

Oooo, I want that Snapware tote. That would be perfect for my stash of pens. Will have to check out our local WalMart. Thanks for all the ideas, Susan! :D

Oh I love the Pringles cans and coffee mug tree! Great ideas! And that tennis ball? So cute!

I have the big 48 pack of Zig Writers I got at Joann's with a 50% off coupon. They are in the original plastic case and that sits in the top bin of my Raskog cart.

My storage is kind of boring... But it works. :) I don't have the fancy Copics or Spectrum Noir because I spent so much on the Zigs when I first started scrapping. Someday I may change over if these all run out of ink, but I don't use them that much so it's not that important to me...

Thanks Stephanie! Yes, I am a pen/marker junkie! :) I am using them more and more in the past couple of years because I am getting braver with my doodling! :)

That carousel is at Michael's and you can use your coupons to purchase it. My BFF got it for me years ago and I LOVE it! Funny thing is I didn't think I would like it but she knew me better than that! LOL!
