Once upon a time I had sheets and sheets of random words, titles, and phrases - plus individual chipboard words, vellum quotes, and rub-on sayings. I never used them because I could never find one in the topic I needed. So, I cut the words apart from one another and sorted them in the categories you see in the list below. I store each category in the smallest Stearlite drawer towers from WalMart (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-5-D ... 2449#about - the price listed is for four organizers, for a total of 20 drawers.) It works so well and now I can quickly locate the ideal word/title/phrase I need for my layouts!

Adjectives A-G
Adjectives H-R
Adjectives S-Z
Animals
Celebrations and Party Words
Children and Baby Words
Congratulations, Achievement, and Success Words
Create, Inspire, and Imagine Words
Dreams, Hopes, and Wishes Words
Fun, Joy, Delight, and Happiness Words
Faith, Blessings, and Peace Words
Family and Family Members Words
Friendship and Heroes Words
Exclamations and Questions
Holidays
Hugs and Kisses Words
Laughter and Giggling Words
Life and Living Words
Love, Cherish, and Heart Words
Memories Words
Moments Words
Nature, Flowers, Sun, and Seasons Words
Nouns
Passage of Time Words
Pronouns, Adjectives, and Adverbs
Smile and Picture-Taking Words
Thank-You and Gratitude Words
Thinking of You, Hello, and Good-Bye Words
Travel and Adventure Words
Verbs A-L
Verbs M-Z
Vintage

With matching collections, I keep those words with their respective kits.

Yes, it does take a bit of time to do this, but not as long as you would think. And it was so worth it!

For a more economical storage solution, you could use individual zip-lock bags, business sized or lager envelopes, file folders, mason jars, etc.
