I love October. I documented most of the fun events throughout the month.

The sketch from Scrap Orchard.

And then I put it in the recycling bin

Y'all, I just didn't love it. AND I forgot a few photos. I rescued the fun bits from the above layout and gave the photos to DS for his Smash Book. Then, I tried a different approach. I picked two different sketches.

And a different paper line: Oct 31st by Fancy Pants.

This is a line that I received for DT work back in... 2011? It's not something I would have picked out for myself but I've gotten tons of mileage out of it.

*Create a new layout or PL spread for this challenge- any of the above sketches.
*Upload your creation in the gallery and link back here by December 30th.

Love seeing both of your layouts! Course I think the first one was fine too.

I think the first one if fine, but I agree that I like the second one better. And you've done something it has never occurred to me to do - that is, combine two distinct single-page sketches into one 2-page layout!!! How clever! I would never have thought it would work, but it does.

I agree with Wendy, I like the first page too! Your finished layout is lots of fun & I love how you combined the 2 sketches.

I like them both too Alissa! But, I love how you walked us through your thought process and how you combined the two sketches to come up with the second layout.
